Insurance Coverage: Automobile and Worker's Compensation Insurance cover acupuncture. According to Florida House Bill 461 (1987), any insurance plan that covers a licensed medical doctor performing acupuncture treatment also provides the same coverage for treatment by a licensed acupuncture physician.
